- Intimate Reception at Private Residence - Jessica & Mitchell
July | This reception-only wedding is a perfect example of how customizable weddings are! | Photos By The Rajans | Jessica and Mitchell's wedding was not only beautiful, with a venue full of art-deco details and decor to match, but it was fully their own. Their wedding day was all about the reception, skipping a traditional ceremony and focusing on cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing with their guests, a true party! Rich navy and black decor, coupled with gold accents, gave their reception a glamorous 1920s flair which was complemented perfectly by a few the modern touches like their clear chairs! They also rented a striking black and white tile dance floor to not only bring their bold design vision to life, but it cleverly disguised the existing carpet in their venue that didn't match their aesthetic. A great example of how rentals can be used to transform a space to fit any design goals! For couples that are already legally married, or just aren't interested in the ceremony aspect of weddings, but still want a celebration, consider making your wedding day all about the reception!
