From Mehndi to Marriage! A Larger-Than-Life Multi-Day Indian Wedding at Hyatt Regency Portland - Trusha and Karan
June | Trusha and Karan pulled out all the stops for their multi-day Indian wedding at Hyatt Regency Portland! From colorful traditions and a show-stopping reception to a surprise appearance by a Portland-famous furry guest, this wedding weekend was all things iconic!

From vibrant mehndi and haldi festivities to an energetic sangeet, a Corvette-fueled baraat, and a beautiful wedding ceremony, Trusha and Karan's wedding weekend was one celebration after another! Each event brought its own traditions, personality, and opportunities to celebrate with family and friends. All leading up to a reception that was quite literally electric!
And these two knew how to entertain! Guests were treated to specialty food cart-inspired dining, fresh espresso adorned with the couple's sweet dogs' faces, Italian gelato from Pinolo Gelato, and even a special appearance by Portland's very own Caesar the No Drama Llama! But the grand finale? That was all about the dance floor. Massive LED displays, CO₂ fog guns, dramatic lighting, and a first dance complete with dancing-on-clouds effects and cold sparks took the celebration to another level. Was it extra? Absolutely. Was it unforgettable? Without a doubt. Are we still obsessing over it? A major YES!
An Entire Wedding Weekend? That's Where Ultimate Comes In!
A celebration this elaborate doesn't happen overnight! Behind the colorful traditions, custom installations, interactive guest experiences, and larger-than-life entertainment were months of thoughtful planning, creative collaboration, and some serious logistical coordination.
That's exactly what our Ultimate Wedding Planning Package was designed for! For Trusha and Karan, that meant coordinating multiple celebrations, vendor teams, custom build-outs, entertainment, and guest experiences across an entire wedding weekend.
