  • Beautiful Wedding at Ironlight Filled with Light and Love - Katie and Eric

June | This wedding blended timeless ceremony traditions with a light, joyful reception design, beginning at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Portland and ending with an elegant, cloud-like celebration at Ironlight in Lake Oswego. Soft blues, airy whites, and thoughtful personal touches made the day feel both meaningful and effortlessly fun. | Photos By Aaron Courter Photography | The day began at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by family, tradition, and quiet reverence. The historic church provided a beautiful and intimate setting for their ceremony, with its classic architecture and serene atmosphere offering a meaningful start to the celebration. Small personal moments throughout the ceremony made it feel deeply heartfelt and grounded in what mattered most to the couple. From there, guests traveled to Ironlight for a reception that felt light, joyful, and full of personality. The venue’s white drapery divided the space softly, creating movement and intimacy throughout the room. Paired with white linens and white chairs, the space felt almost cloud-like, giving the entire reception an airy and elevated feel. Soft blue accents were woven throughout the design, adding gentle pops of color without overwhelming the neutral palette. Blue water goblets lined the tables, complementing florals made up of white and pink blooms with lush greenery. The design felt romantic yet playful, striking a balance between elegance and celebration. Some of our favorite personal details truly brought the reception to life. The couple displayed custom-made bobbleheads of themselves, adding a fun and unexpected element that guests loved. Bite-sized desserts filled the dessert table, making it easy to sample everything from mini sweets to beautifully crafted treats. A gold tree adorned with blue paper cranes stood as a meaningful focal point, blending symbolism with design. The couple chose our Deluxe Package, allowing us to take the lead on vendor coordination and planning logistics so they could focus on enjoying the process. By managing the behind-the-scenes details, we helped create a seamless experience that let the couple fully soak in every moment of their wedding day. September | This intimate mid-September wedding at The Griffin House blended wildflower-inspired pastels with the lush greenery of the Gorge, creating a dreamy garden-party atmosphere overlooking one of the most breathtaking venues in the Pacific Northwest. | Photos By Caleb Gaskins | There’s something especially magical about The Griffin House in mid-September. The Gorge is still vibrant and green, the summer haze has lifted, and the cliffs almost glow in the sun. For this lively and intimate celebration, the couple leaned into the venue’s natural beauty, choosing a wildflower-inspired aesthetic that felt perfectly at home among the sweeping views. Their color palette played beautifully with the landscape. Soft pastels, bright wildflower tones, and delicate shades of purple, pink, yellow, and orange. While the florals brought plenty of personality, the real color came from the Gorge itself with layers of green hills and windswept cliffs framing every moment. The Griffin House has a way of making even the simplest decor feel elevated, thanks to its dramatic vantage point over the river. One of our favorite details was the tented reception. The ceiling was draped in cascading greenery garlands, creating the feeling of dining beneath forest branches which was an extension of the Gorge’s natural charm.
