August | This August wedding at Aurora Vineyards combined a garden amphitheater ceremony with an elegant black and white reception featuring a checkered dance floor. Golden Hour Glamour and Vineyard Vows in Aurora

Aurora Vineyards has this incredible way of feeling like a slice of the English countryside tucked right into Oregon. On this bright August day, the blue skies and a gentle summer breeze made for the most comfortable afternoon. As the sun began to dip, the vineyard showed off a flawless golden hour that bathed the entire property in a warm and romantic light.


The flow of this venue is so seamless, which really helps guests relax as they move through the day. The ceremony took place in the outdoor amphitheater, an intimate spot defined by beautiful stonework and lush greenery. The couple exchanged vows in front of a draped arbor topped with a large, elegant floral arrangement. With towering trees providing just enough shade and expansive views in every direction, the setting felt both private and grand at the same time.


For the reception, everyone moved to the event center. This space is a charming building with white wooden rafters and bright walls that perfectly balance character with modern elegance. We arranged long tables for a family style dinner using a palette of crisp white and deep black to create a sophisticated look. Touches of gold showed up in the bridesmaid dresses and an ornate gold mirror used for the seating chart, adding a bit of luxury to the room. Outside on the patio, a classic checkered dance floor became the centerpiece for an evening of dancing under the stars.


Personal touches really made the night shine, including a festive champagne tower that was a huge hit with the guests. A dessert table filled with a variety of mini treats offered something for everyone while the party kept going. The bride looked timeless in a silk mermaid gown, and the groom was sharp in a classic black suit and bow tie.


The couple utilized our Signature Package, which allowed our team to take the lead on vendor management and timeline logistics. By handling the communication and coordination leading up to the big day, we made sure the couple could stay focused on each other and the beautiful surroundings.


Witnessing this blend of rustic charm and high-end elegance was a highlight of our summer season. From the first toast at the champagne tower to the final dance on the checkered floor, it was a day that felt both effortless and deeply memorable.
