September 2021 | Intimate and Romantic Wine-Country Wedding | Photo By Sweet Life Photography | This wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty! The Black Walnut Inn feels like a European getaway, but is nestled away in beautiful Oregon Wine Country. We love this venue for some many reasons, and its quiet and breathtaking views is one of them. Natalie and Jake invited a small group of family and friends to celebrate with them, and the venue really set the tone for this intimate family gathering. They came to us wanting to make the space feel like a peaceful weekend getaway, and we were so honored to be a part of it. We LOVED the beautiful and unique table layout - a design that kept everyone close and the views visible. And we loved this family, too, and getting to know them. And the growing ceremony aisle designed by Blüm Floral made for a stunning view. It was such an honor to help bring out so many personal details throughout the wedding. Natalie gave guests matchbooks with custom stickers (Katelyn, the lead planner, still burns them to this day), we brought in custom UK candy bars to make her side of the family feel at home, and we even worked with Natalie to get a few pints of Guinness for her Grandpa to make his day and calm the nerves before the ceremony. Mid-century modern and vintage details, but add a little rustic twist. This was the theme of our "Winter Your Way" styled shoot. The soft winter sun through the windows, the flickering glow of frost-colored candlesticks, and the earthy toned color palette.... despite the cold teeth that February winds can have, there was a warm and romantic atmosphere at Union Pine that we couldn't get enough of. Our wonderful lead planner, Emily, designed the space for this shoot to embrace true Northwest style and inspire couples who are looking to celebrate their love in the frosty months of winter. The feel was moody and cozy: the same feeling you get when you're cozied up next to the fire with blankets and a hot drink. The artisan pies from Pie Spot and whipped-cream-dolloped cocktails by the Swig Rig really complimented all the delicate details of this shoot: the elegant of the wedding gown bodice, full tux, and the soft florals. We especially loved the tablescape. "I’m obsessed with table culture and design. The colors came together so beautifully with those sienna linens, ivory chiffon, sliced pears, vintage glassware and modern-styled seating," Emily said. Union Pine's main venue is both modern and rustic, with the dark floors that contrast with the white walls. The sunlight that gently flows in through the wall of windows is bright yet soft, creating the perfect lighting to capture the day you say, "I Do." Katy Weaver Photography captured Emily's design beautifully. We love a golden, summer wedding, but winter is truly a special time of the year to tie the knot. You and your partner can always cozy up every year after and feel that same warmth you did years ago. September 2022 | Classic, Black & White Wedding with Custom Drink Display | | Photo By Rachel Haylie Photography | Two locations, three outfit changes, and tons of custom, personal details!! Emily and Pete were so chic and stylish, and we had such a joy helping transform this golf course venue into their own unique wedding with personal touches. Black and white might be classic, but this was no cookie-cutter wedding. The custom wall might be our favorite touch - they had custom copper Moscow mule cups etched with their pups' faces, ready for guests arrival into cocktail hour - a statement we'll never forget (BTW, Moriah with Wonderwall PDX is a gem!). Their design was timeless - a black and white wedding will never cease to look beautiful. We loved arranging the tablescape, with the sleek menu and clean details. Their photographer, Rachel Haylie, was a keep play in the day, capturing every detail, each location and all the love.
