The day began with a traditional and deeply meaningful ceremony, where the couple exchanged vows framed by the grand architecture and timeless stone facade of a stunning cathedral. Sarah was a vision in her classic strapless gown and delicate veil, carrying a romantic bouquet of white dahlias, roses, and pops of light blue cosmos. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds made a stylish getaway to their reception in a sleek Porsche 911. Guests gathered for a sophisticated rooftop celebration that offered beautiful views and a modern atmosphere. Long reception tables were elegantly styled with neutral linens, crisp navy napkins, and striking blue taper candles housed in glass cylinders. The evening continued with a beautiful plated dinner, touching toasts from family and friends, and a sweet, intimate cake cutting. One that would allow their personalities to take center stage. Choosing a grounded palette of black and white, they created a timeless celebration filled with elegance. From the moment guests arrived, the clean design choices paired with thoughtful, personal touches made the entire experience feel exceptionally genuine. The celebration took place at Ironlight in Lake Oswego, where the venue's warm wood accents and panoramic windows provided a bright, natural aesthetic. With sweeping elevated views of the surrounding city and Mt. Hood, the space offered a stunning backdrop that complemented rather than competed with their decor. The couple softened the modern architecture with a variety of lush white florals. Tablescapes featured a curated mix of black and white accents, crisp arrangements, and glowing taper candles on gold holders, which brought a warm, inviting feel to the entire room. What truly made the day unforgettable was the playful personality woven into every moment. In a unique twist on the traditional guestbook, guests built custom LEGO figurines of themselves to display on a pre-built wall, paying homage to one of the couple's favorite hobbies. Later in the evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon and the dance floor kicked into high gear, the couple surprised their guests with a late-night boba tea station and an instant ramen bar to keep the energy high and the party going well into the night. We provided Premiere planning support to manage the logistics and create a seamless transition from their romantic outdoor ceremony to the bright barn reception. | Photos By Leah Warner Photography | The Orchard in Hood River is a beautiful place to say I do. Set against a backdrop of sweeping views, it feels both grand and incredibly inviting. On this early August day, the weather offered a perfect mix of soft overcast light and brilliant sunshine. As the evening drew to a close, the sky treated everyone to a breathtaking sunset that made the entire property glow. One of the highlights of this venue is the way the spaces work together. Everything feels cohesive because the natural landscape provides a consistent energy from the moment guests arrive. The ceremony lawn is framed by a long hedge of white hydrangeas that look stunning in photographs. We set the stage for the ceremony with vintage wooden chairs for the family and beautiful wooden benches for the rest of the guests. Cafe lights were strung overhead to add a touch of romance that lasted well into the evening. The design for the day was classy, organic, and elegant with a subtle vintage charm. We stuck to a palette of white, ivory, and soft hints of sage green to keep things clean and timeless. The florals were a major focus of the design. We placed large floor arrangements where the couple exchanged vows and two more at the start of the aisle to welcome the wedding party. One of the best things about working at this venue is how easily these pieces can be repurposed. We moved the ceremony florals into the barn for the reception, adding lush color to the dance floor and throughout the gathering spaces. The couple worked with us through our Premiere Package. Just like in our previous work with this level of service, we provided dedicated design support and collaborative sessions to ensure every detail was perfect. From the initial walkthrough to the final coordination, our team managed the logistics so the couple could stay present and enjoy the day without any stress. This celebration was a beautiful reflection of the couple and the charm of The Orchard. It was refined, joyful, and full of natural beauty. Hood River continues to be one of our favorite places to celebrate love, and this wedding was a highlight of our summer season.
