A Timeless Design and Rooftop Views at Ironlight - Amanda and Tuan

September | This modern September wedding at Ironlight featured a bright, black-and-white color palette with elegant gold accents and panoramic views of Mt. Hood. The celebration stood out with highly personalized elements, including a custom LEGO guestbook wall, a boba tea station, and a late-night instant ramen bar.
An indoor wedding reception space features reception tables set with white linens, black napkins, and tall glass taper candles, alongside dark wood folding chairs and large white floral installations set against a wall of floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.

When the couple first envisioned their wedding day, they imagined a design that was soft, simple, and deeply personal. One that would allow their personalities to take center stage. Choosing a grounded palette of black and white, they created a timeless celebration filled with elegance. From the moment guests arrived, the clean design choices paired with thoughtful, personal touches made the entire experience feel exceptionally genuine.


The celebration took place at Ironlight in Lake Oswego, where the venue's warm wood accents and panoramic windows provided a bright, natural aesthetic. With sweeping elevated views of the surrounding city and Mt. Hood, the space offered a stunning backdrop that complemented rather than competed with their decor. The couple softened the modern architecture with a variety of lush white florals. Tablescapes featured a curated mix of black and white accents, crisp arrangements, and glowing taper candles on gold holders, which brought a warm, inviting feel to the entire room.


What truly made the day unforgettable was the playful personality woven into every moment. In a unique twist on the traditional guestbook, guests built custom LEGO figurines of themselves to display on a pre-built wall, paying homage to one of the couple's favorite hobbies. Later in the evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon and the dance floor kicked into high gear, the couple surprised their guests with a late-night boba tea station and an instant ramen bar to keep the energy high and the party going well into the night.


The couple worked with our team through the Premiere Package, allowing us to collaborate closely on the design boards and handle all vendor communication and day-of coordination. We loved helping bring their distinct vision to life, managing the logistical flow of the interactive stations and transitions so the couple could completely relax and enjoy every thoughtful second of their day.


This wedding was a beautiful reminder of how high-end design and playful, personal details can live together perfectly. It was a joyful, unforgettable night that reflected the couple from start to finish, leaving guests with full hearts and wonderful memories.
