A Moody and Jewel Toned Autumn Wedding at Crag Rat Hut - Jes and Gabe

September | Jes and Gabe celebrated their love with a classic, deeply personal wedding at Crag Rat Hut, featuring sweeping views of Mt. Hood and a relaxed pizza bar reception.

Jes and Gabe’s wedding day at Crag Rat Hut perfectly blended timeless elegance with a cozy, laid-back Pacific Northwest vibe. The day began with intimate morning preparations before the couple met at the venue for their sweet pre-ceremony traditions. Tucked away from guests, they shared private vows and presented heartfelt gifts to their parents before their loved ones arrived.  


The ceremony took place on the outdoor patio, framed by the breathtaking panoramic view of Mt. Hood. As the sun began its descent, Jes began her down the aisle. In front of their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged rings and made things official against a stunning backdrop of the Cascade Range.  


Following the ceremony, guests moved seamlessly into a lively cocktail hour while the newlyweds slipped away for sunset portraits. To ensure their custom layout, multi-tiered transportation shuttles, and day-of logistics came together without a hitch, the couple worked with us through our Signature Package. This allowed them to fully immerse themselves in the celebration while we coordinated with vendors and oversaw the setup.  


The reception moved indoors, where the wooden architecture of the hut was transformed with a classic, clean, and richly colored design. Long wooden farm tables were adorned with soft blush runners, glowing pillar candles, and striking, moody floral arrangements of deep burgundy, plum, and pops of blue. The tablescapes were completed with elegant gold flatware, smokey goblets, and a custom thank you menu resting on a knotted dark slate napkin.  


Instead of a traditional plated dinner, the couple opted for a fun and unique pizza bar and Caesar salad menu, paired with signature drinks. After a relaxed dinner and a round of heartfelt toasts, the couple shared their first dance, kicking off a high-energy dance party. The night concluded with a vibrant glow-stick grand exit before guests boarded the shuttles home.
