August | This August wedding at Aurora Vineyards combined a garden amphitheater ceremony with an elegant black and white reception featuring a checkered dance floor. Our Signature planning package provided the logistical support and vendor management needed to create a seamless transition from golden hour toasts to late night dancing. | Photos By Hvfitz Photos | Golden Hour Glamour and Vineyard Vows in Aurora Aurora Vineyards has this incredible way of feeling like a slice of the English countryside tucked right into Oregon. On this bright August day, the blue skies and a gentle summer breeze made for the most comfortable afternoon. As the sun began to dip, the vineyard showed off a flawless golden hour that bathed the entire property in a warm and romantic light. The flow of this venue is so seamless, which really helps guests relax as they move through the day. The ceremony took place in the outdoor amphitheater, an intimate spot defined by beautiful stonework and lush greenery. The couple exchanged vows in front of a draped arbor topped with a large, elegant floral arrangement. With towering trees providing just enough shade and expansive views in every direction, the setting felt both private and grand at the same time. For the reception, everyone moved to the event center. This space is a charming building with white wooden rafters and bright walls that perfectly balance character with modern elegance. We arranged long tables for a family style dinner using a palette of crisp white and deep black to create a sophisticated look. Touches of gold showed up in the bridesmaid dresses and an ornate gold mirror used for the seating chart, adding a bit of luxury to the room. Outside on the patio, a classic checkered dance floor became the centerpiece for an evening of dancing under the stars. Personal touches really made the night shine, including a festive champagne tower that was a huge hit with the guests. A dessert table filled with a variety of mini treats offered something for everyone while the party kept going. The bride looked timeless in a silk mermaid gown, and the groom was sharp in a classic black suit and bow tie. The couple utilized our Signature Package, which allowed our team to take the lead on vendor management and timeline logistics. By handling the communication and coordination leading up to the big day, we made sure the couple could stay focused on each other and the beautiful surroundings. Witnessing this blend of rustic charm and high-end elegance was a highlight of our summer season. August | We were thrilled to plan two distinct wedding celebrations for the same couple in August including a vibrant traditional Indian ceremony at Castaway and another sophisticated ceremony the next day at Amaterra. Our Ultimate Full-Service package allowed us to honor their rich cultural heritage while creating a serene and elegant experience for their second celebration. | Photos By Auburn Photography | Planning a wedding is a meaningful undertaking, but occasionally we have the privilege of coordinating a multi-day celebration that honors two distinct visions. This past August, we had the honor of helping one couple bring their dreams to life through two separate, equally beautiful wedding days in Portland. Because they chose our Ultimate Full-Service Package, our team was able to act as their creative collaborators, ensuring that every detail across both events felt deeply intentional. The first celebration at Castaway was a vibrant, traditional Indian wedding bursting with energy and color. The focal point was the mandap, a sacred four-pillared structure that serves as the altar for Hindu rituals. Its presence was truly breathtaking, with four pillars representing the support of parents and the four core goals of life. Throughout the ceremony, we saw the significance of the puja thali, a collection of sacred tools used for prayer and blessing. The atmosphere was electric, filled with bright pinks, oranges, and reds. The couple looked stunning in traditional attire, the bride in vibrant orange and pink and the groom in a classic white ensemble accented by a red sash. Intricate henna designs adorned their hands and arms as they celebrated with traditional dances and family traditions that kept the joy going all day. Following that high-energy celebration, the mood shifted to the elegance of Amaterra for a second, more traditional wedding. The atmosphere here was calm and sophisticated. The color palette relied on serene whites accented with soft, dusty blues. The bride wore a flowing lace gown, while the groom opted for a classic black tuxedo. Instead of the bold colors of the previous day, we focused on refinement. A standout design feature was the altar arrangement, a lush display of white flowers that cascaded off a short wall, slowly transitioning into delicate blue blooms. The evening continued with a vintage two-layer cake, sweeping sunset views, and a late-night menu of burgers and fries that kept the dance floor packed until the very end. While these two days were worlds apart in aesthetic and tradition, both were rooted in the same love. Our goal was to be the bridge between these two experiences, honoring the cultural richness of the first day while leaning into the quiet elegance of the second. Taylor and Hashim were such a stunning couple - they seriously looked like models in every photo that Lacey White captured! We loved this setting for them. The sun was out on this beautiful May day, and the turf area offers a wonderful outdoor setting out in the cool, spring sun. We love Abbey Road Farm because because the venue offers both outdoor and indoor options. Since the sun was out, T+H had their reception outside, but we kept the buffet and dessert sheltered inside.
