This June wedding at Quailhurst Estate was a true celebration of garden-inspired design and timeless Portland charm. With its manicured grounds, historic estate feel, and iconic blue hydrangeas lining the property, Quailhurst provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding that leaned fully into florals, color, and outdoor beauty.


Flowers and greenery truly stole the show throughout the day. Lush arrangements appeared everywhere, framing the ceremony, filling tabletops, and softening every corner of the venue. The floral design felt abundant yet intentional, enhancing the estate’s gardens rather than competing with them. The bridesmaids wore a mix of floral dresses in shades of blue, pink, and mint green, adding movement and personality while perfectly echoing the surrounding blooms.


One of the standout moments of the day was how thoughtfully the couple infused personality into the celebration. The greenery-wrapped wicker light installation overhead created a warm, intimate glow, while a live artist drew “bad portraits” of guests throughout the reception, giving everyone a playful keepsake to take home. Together, these details added character and charm, perfectly complementing the joyful, garden party atmosphere.


Quailhurst Estate’s natural beauty played a huge role in the overall feel of the day. The vibrant hydrangeas, lush lawns, and classic architecture gave the celebration an elevated yet relaxed atmosphere that felt perfect for a summer wedding. Guests flowed easily from one part of the day to the next, soaking in the scenery and the joyful energy of the celebration.
