A Timeless Burgundy & Green Wedding at The Griffin House - Alisha and AP

There are few places in the Pacific Northwest where the landscape feels as cinematic as The Griffin House. Perched high above the Columbia River Gorge, the venue's sweeping river views and dramatic cliffs set the stage for Alisha and AP's September wedding, where the lingering warmth of summer met the rich textures of early Fall. Their palette of crisp white, deep maroon, layered greens, and warm gold felt like a natural extension of the surrounding landscape—elegant, timeless, and effortlessly seasonal.


Alisha's clean, modern gown paired beautifully with her soft, radiant look by Shannon Butler Makeup, while Krysta and Nick captured every windswept portrait and joy-filled moment with an editorial eye. One of the day's most memorable details came from the couple's beloved dog, who made several appearances in an adorable wedding dress, adding a playful, personal touch!


The reception embraced understated luxury inside a clear-top tent overlooking the Gorge. Flowing ivory linens, antique gold frames, rich burgundy paper goods, and suspended disco balls created a sophisticated atmosphere that transitioned seamlessly from dinner to dancing. Trellis Florals echoed the surrounding scenery with lush seasonal blooms, textured greenery, and romantic arrangements that softened the space while allowing the venue's breathtaking views to remain the focal point.


Guests gathered in comfortable lounge settings from Arden Event Collective and Riverhood Rentals before enjoying an exceptional dinner by Cheryl's on 12th. The evening concluded with an elegant cake from Helen Bernhard Bakery, Italian desserts from Bella's Italian Bakery, and a packed dance floor as JR Music Collective kept the celebration going well into the night.
