Unforgettable Fall Wedding at The Griffin House - Mari and Graham

October | This late October wedding at The Griffin House showcased everything we love about fall in the Columbia River Gorge, from vibrant autumn colors to sweeping hilltop views. With a clear tent reception and seasonal details throughout, it was a beautiful celebration set against one of the most scenic backdrops in the Pacific Northwest.

In late fall in the Pacific Northwest, as the leaves turn the most vivid shades of orange and red, The Griffin House offers some of the most stunning views in the Gorge. This late October wedding showed exactly why this venue is a top contender for best scenery. As the sun came out in the afternoon, the venue truly shined, creating the perfect backdrop for a beautiful celebration.


There are so many things to love about The Griffin House, but one of our favorites is how adaptable it is. It’s perfect for small, intimate weddings, but just as stunning for larger celebrations. This wedding was on the bigger side, yet the space accommodated everyone effortlessly. Guests took in the sweeping views from the lawn during the ceremony before heading into the warm and inviting clear tent for the reception, where they enjoyed beautifully decorated tables and celebrated with the couple late into the evening.


One of our favorite things to see is when couples embrace the season and use it as part of their design. This couple did exactly that. Cute white pumpkins were sprinkled throughout the venue and even used as place settings at the reception. Their color palette, which consisted of shades of orange, red, burgundy, and green, paired perfectly with the natural colors of the Gorge, making the celebration feel like a true extension of the landscape.


The couple worked with YPB through our Custom Signature package, which includes planning support and full day-of coordination. Our team made sure every detail ran smoothly so the couple could stay present and enjoy every moment of their wedding day.


This celebration perfectly reflected The Griffin House’s ability to feel calm and inviting while also being the perfect place to gather, celebrate, and soak in the beauty of the Gorge.
