The expansive landscape of Scholls Valley Lodge offers a stunning sense of arrival the moment you step onto the property. Nestled in Hillsboro, Oregon, this hidden gem frames panoramic territorial views with a perfectly rustic, open-air architecture that sets a majestic backdrop for a celebration. On this beautiful September day, the sun-drenched rolling hills and bright blue skies worked in tandem to bring out the absolute best of the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty.


What makes this property so spectacular is how effortlessly the transition unfolds between each part of the celebration. Guests gather on a wide, scenic lawn beneath a grand tree to witness the vows before transitioning seamlessly to an adjacent timber-framed pavilion for dinner. It is a thoughtful layout that keeps the energy connected and flowing from space to space, offering an expansive outdoor experience while ensuring everyone feels comfortable and close to the action.


The design concept put a spotlight on deep, intentional tones that felt exceptionally sophisticated against the organic landscape. A gorgeous color story of rich chocolate brown, crisp cream, and fresh greenery anchored the space, highlighted by bridesmaids in sleek espresso gowns and reception tables styled with rich brown napkins hand-tied into chic knots. Personal touches brought the couple's story to life, from custom bar signage honoring their pup to a magnificent four-tiered baklava tower lovingly curated by the groom’s grandmother to honor family heritage.


To ensure every structural and logistical detail came together flawlessly, the couple utilized our Signature package for coordination and day-of management. Our team stepped in to handle the dynamic floor plans, sync timelines, and oversee the execution of beautiful rentals. Taking some of the logistical weight off their shoulders meant the newlyweds could fully immerse themselves in the celebration.


From the meaningful, family-centered dessert display to the vibrant energy that packed the pavilion floor, the entire day was a brilliant testament to the couple's personal style.
