October | Crisp mid-autumn light and panoramic river views established a breathtaking backdrop for a lively celebration in Hood River. The gathering brought together vibrant color, vintage patterns, and relaxed Pacific Northwest hospitality.

An eclectic garden party aesthetic filled with rich orange, bright pink, soft blue, and warm gold accents set a joyful tone at Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa. Designed to feel entirely relaxed yet full of life, the overall atmosphere paired playful color choices with polished outdoor settings. Blue and white chinoiserie decor mixed seamlessly with warm metal accents, creating a layered, design-forward look across the manicured grounds. Every detail brought a sense of fun and vibrancy that energized the surroundings.
Set upon the dramatic Point Lawn, the ceremony showcased sweeping, unobstructed views of the Columbia River Gorge. The couple intentionally opted out of large floral arrangements at the altar, allowing the majestic natural landscape to serve as the primary focus. Following the vows, the bride and groom shared a memorable toast and took a shot with their officiant to celebrate the moment. The lawn's direct proximity to the main hotel structure allowed guests an easy, intuitive walk from arrival through to the ceremony seating.
Guests then gathered on the West Lawn for an al fresco reception under the open sky. Round dining tables were dressed in clean white linens, topped with gold vessel
arrangements and delicate blue and white chinoiserie bud vases filled with warm orange blooms. Bright orange taper candles and flickering tea lights added glowing pops of color throughout the evening. Tables were uniquely identified by famous Pacific Northwest mountain peaks, while custom cocktail napkins featuring illustrations of their dogs, Zola and Piper, added a sweet personal element.
