June | Set against sweeping vineyard views, this June wedding at the Black Walnut Inn was a heartfelt celebration of community, natural beauty, and thoughtful design. With layered florals, candlelit tables, and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, the day felt intimate, warm, and deeply personal.

This June wedding at the Black Walnut Inn near Portland was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations often come from intention and connection. With a guest count of about 60 guests, the couple centered their day around community, great food and music, and an aesthetic that felt natural, elevated, and inviting.


The design leaned into soft neutrals and dusty rose tones, which came to life through florals full of texture and movement. Dusty pink and orange carnations mixed effortlessly with peach dahlias, white daisies, yellow yarrow achillea, and lush greenery. At the ceremony, two grounded floral arrangements framed the top of the aisle, while a semi-circle floral installation displayed where vows were exchanged. With vineyard views stretching in all directions, the ceremony felt calm and grounded in the landscape around it.


The couple’s personal style was timeless and effortless. The groom wore a classic black tux, while the bride stunned in a flowing white lace dress that moved beautifully in the summer breeze. Adding an extra layer of charm, their yellow lab made an appearance in a bowtie, quickly becoming a guest favorite.


One of the standout design choices was the single long farm table for dinner. With dark wood tables, pink linen napkins, elegant place settings, and an abundance of florals and candles in hurricane vases, the reception felt like one long family-style gathering. This layout perfectly reflected the couple’s desire for togetherness and shared experience.


The couple chose our Premiere Package, which allowed for a collaborative approach to their planning experience with hands-on design support. With extra time dedicated to refining their floral-forward vision and coordinating the many moving pieces of the day, we were able to create a celebration that felt cohesive, intentional, and effortlessly executed from start to finish.


The Black Walnut Inn’s versatility made the day seamless, with both the ceremony and reception showcasing vineyard views. With catering, bar, and dessert all provided in-house, the evening flowed effortlessly into a warm, candlelit celebration filled with laughter, conversation, and unforgettable moments.
