Mt. Hood Skibowl offers a wedding experience that is truly elevated (pun intended). Nestled high in the Cascade Range, this venue provides a dramatic backdrop of towering evergreens and sweeping alpine views that perfectly capture the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. For Alex and Cody, their early September celebration was a perfect blend of outdoorsy charm and intentional slowness, allowing them to stay present while surrounded by nature and those they love.


The ceremony took place at the Warming Hut, where guests arrived by chairlift to breathtaking views before taking their seats in the crisp mountain air. The processional began with a whimsical nod to adventure with the sounds of "Concerning Hobbits," setting a playful yet serene tone for the afternoon. As the bride walked down the aisle escorted by her father, they made their way toward a simple wooden arbor framed by the vast mountain landscape. After the pronouncement, the couple made a high energy exit celebrating their new "Mr. and Mrs." status.


Following the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to ride down to the reception via Skibowl's famous alpine slides. Talk about a grand entrance! As the celebration moved to the reception tent, the design leaned into a natural, outdoorsy theme. The space was anchored by warm wood textures and floral arrangements repurposed from the ceremony to bring the beauty of the arbor down to the dining area. Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and toasted the newlyweds as the sun dipped behind the peaks. The evening was filled with sentimental moments, including signature dances that led to a night of dancing under the stars.


The couple worked with our team through the Signature Package. We managed the mountain logistics, from chairlift arrivals to the floral flip between the Warming Hut and the reception site. By overseeing the timeline, we ensured the couple could focus entirely on their priority: mingling and soaking in the day with their loved ones.


This wedding was a beautiful reflection of the couple’s love for nature and their desire for a day that felt both adventurous and grounded. It was a celebration defined by the fresh alpine air, heartfelt toasts, and the unforgettable scenery that only Mt. Hood can provide.
