Nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Skamania Lodge provided a stunning backdrop of towering trees, lush greenery, and sweeping Gorge views, making it the perfect Pacific Northwest wedding venue. Tracy and Ray enjoyed a full all-inclusive experience, a hallmark of Skamania Lodge, including beautifully appointed accommodations, on-site catering, rentals, and venue management. The couple chose a vibrant color palette of magenta, ivory, and touches of blue, creating a bright, energetic atmosphere that balanced playful fun with elegant details. Their modern, joyful wedding featured fuchsia florals, by Mountain View Floral Design, that filled and framed the space, perfectly reflecting Tracy and Ray’s style. The wedding design came together beautifully thanks to a talented team of vendors vibrantly captured by Molly J. Smith. Our favorite standout moment had to be the live bagpiper, adding a uniquely Portland flair to the celebration and setting the tone for a day full of fun and unforgettable joy. With soaring vaulted ceilings, crisp white walls, and a dramatic wall of wine barrels, the venue offers striking architectural character. Café lights glowing overhead added warmth, while the greenery surrounding the building provided a soft, natural contrast to the urban location. The ceremony took place in front of the barrel wall, creating a romantic and textural backdrop. The groom and groomsmen wore classic black suits for a timeless look, while the bridesmaids brought gentle color into the space in pastel pink, blue, yellow, purple, and green. The décor remained simple and elegant with white florals accented by subtle hints of pink. The overall design complemented the venue beautifully and allowed the architectural details to shine while still feeling personal and inviting.
