Bold, colorful wedding at The Woodmark Hotel - Emma and Jonathan

September | Emma and Jonathan's wedding at the Woodmark Hotel was a vibrant celebration that proved color can feel both playful and incredibly sophisticated.
Close up photo of a wedding reception table. The centerpiece is made up of a few flower arrangements in different colored glass vases and the flowers are in bold, vibrant colors. There are lemons and blooms on the table as well. The centerpiece is surrounded by a muted purple guaze runner that is in a circle around the decor. Behind the table is the sweetheart table with a large floral arch and in the background are more flower bushes.

Some weddings are defined by a single signature color. Emma and Jonathan's celebration at The Woodmark Hotel embraced an entire spectrum, proving that bold, vibrant design can feel every bit as refined as a neutral palette. Set along the shores of Lake Washington, their wedding was filled with joyful color, playful texture, and thoughtful details that transformed every space into an experience.

Capital Blooms created lush floral arrangements overflowing with dahlias, delphinium, garden roses, snapdragons, and seasonal blooms in shades of coral, peach, lavender, butter yellow, periwinkle, and vibrant orange. Collections of colorful glass bud vases, flowing lavender runners, fresh citrus accents, and specialty rentals from Love Blooms Wedding & Event Design gave each reception table its own personality while still feeling beautifully cohesive. The cheerful lemon-inspired invitation suite from The Knot, paired with custom day-of stationery by Songbird Paperie, carried that fresh, playful aesthetic from guests' first glimpse of the celebration through the final toast.

Emma looked effortlessly radiant in her floral-appliqué gown with soft, romantic hair and makeup by Salon Maison, while Cameron Zegers Photography documented every joyfully, vibrant detail—from sunlit portraits along the waterfront to the colorful reception and energetic dance floor. Guests were welcomed with beautiful live music by the Seattle String Quartet before enjoying an exceptional dinner at The Woodmark Hotel, followed by an unforgettable evening as Blue Wave Band kept the celebration going well into the night. Even the stunning floral-adorned cake by Honey Crumb Cake Studio felt like a continuation of the garden-inspired design, tying together one final colorful moment.

Behind the scenes, our team at Your Perfect Bridesmaid had the honor of guiding Emma and Jonathan through our Premiere Planning Package, which combines partial planning with full wedding day coordination and an elevated design experience. Through collaborative design meetings, custom visual design boards, vendor coordination, timeline creation, and seamless execution, we ensured every colorful detail came together exactly as envisioned—allowing Emma and Jonathan to spend the day fully present, celebrating with the people they love most.
