Some venues create a stunning blank canvas, but The Ruins is anything but! With its dramatic blue and gold murals, magnificent chandeliers, and eclectic architectural details, this Seattle wedding venue brings a backdrop that is immersive, grand, and truly unforgettable! For this wedding, Julia and Trevor embraced the venue's extravagant personality, creating a design that felt opulent, romantic, and oh so hollywood. A rich palette of navy, mauve, burgundy, and blush was layered with metallic accents, vintage-inspired details, and lush florals by Dreyer House.
The ceremony was dripping with romance. A velvet mauve aisle runner, dozens of glowing pillar candles, and abundant floral arrangements transformed the already spectacular space into a truly romantic setting. Encased in The Ruins' ornate murals, our design choices intentionally complemented the rich colors and intricate details of The ruins, allowing the venue itself to become a seamless part of the celebration.
The reception was a Gatsby worthy feast for the eyes. Deep navy linens, burgundy napkins, sparkling crystal glassware, and gold Chiavari chairs created a sophisticated foundation for an eclectic collection of floral arrangements, vintage-inspired vessels, and candlelight.
Elsewhere, a lush floral installation adorned the fireplace, while thoughtful personal touches added warmth and personality. From a vintage telephone guest book to signature cocktails named after the couple's four cats, every corner offered something to delight the senses.
