Opulent Black-Tie Wedding at The Sanctuary at Lotte Hotel Seattle - Annie & Jake

October | Set within the soaring, historic architecture of The Sanctuary at Lotte Hotel Seattle, Annie and Jake’s wedding blended timeless romance with modern opulence. Their black-tie celebration featured dramatic candlelit details, luxurious textures, and an editorial-inspired reception design that transformed the historic venue into an unforgettable evening of elegance and city glamour.

The Sanctuary at Lotte Hotel Seattle offers an immediate sense of drama and reverence the moment you enter—soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass, a pipe organ, and rich historic woodwork that together create a ceremony space that feels both architectural and deeply atmospheric. It is a venue that doesn’t simply host a wedding, but actively shapes it, setting a tone of grandeur that naturally carries through every moment of the day.

Within that expressive setting, Annie and Jake’s design leaned into timeless opulence. A palette of white, navy, and emerald brought balance to the depth of the space, while clean lines and subtle geometric forms introduced a modern structure against the venue’s historic detailing. Lush greenery softened the edges and grounded the design in a Pacific Northwest sensibility, echoed subtly in their stationery and overall visual direction. Annie’s leaf-appliqué gown became an effortless extension of this organic thread, tying her presence directly into the surrounding design story.

The celebration moved fluidly from ceremony to reception, shaped by layers of sound and experience. Seattle String Quartet set a romantic, cinematic tone for the ceremony, which gradually transitioned into a lively reception led by Sounds Unlimited and a fun photobooth moment with Abby's Booth for guests to enjoy. Abundant, all-white floral arrangements—lush, sculptural, and intentionally sustainable, by Something Borrowed Blooms, achieved a fully elevated and luxe aesthetic. Bear Beau Photography documented the day with an editorial, emotive approach that honored both scale and intimacy.
