Nestled in NW Portland, Blockhouse was the perfect urban oasis for a garden-inspired wedding. Surrounded by the sunlit Pomarius Nursery greenhouse and its lush greenery, the space felt like a private garden in the heart of the city—perfect for couples dreaming of a romantic, intimate celebration.


The wedding embraced a refined, organic romance. Terracotta, creamy ivory, and soft apricot tones complemented the lush greenery of the nursery, while layered textures throughout the space added warmth and depth.


The ceremony was intimate and personal. The flower girls’ intricately embroidered dresses brought a delicate, whimsical touch, while the strings of Duo Con Brio filled the greenhouse with a romantic soundtrack that made the moment feel timeless and intentional.


Cocktail hour offered a sophisticated start to the evening with a completely custom menu including a fresh oyster bar and handcrafted signature cocktails by Pearl Catering, giving guests the perfect opportunity to mingle and enjoy the garden-inspired surroundings.


The reception beautifully reflected the couple’s personal style and close-knit family. Margo and Spencer’s loved ones brought the celebration to life with opera solos, live saxophone, and DJing, creating a vibrant, memorable atmosphere. A stunning cake by local favorite Papa Haydn and thoughtfully curated floral arrangements from Sammy's Flowers—Margo’s favorite Portland flower shop—tied the organic palette together, while highlighting some of the couple’s favorite local touches.

We assisted with organizing all the day-of details, creating a custom timeline, managing rentals and floor plan design, and overseeing the curation and management of vendors.
