Monica and Caleb’s late summer wedding at Oregon Golf Club felt less like a single event and more like stepping into a world built entirely around them. Designed, planned, and officiated by our Director of Operations, Katelyn — affectionately known on our team as an absolute superstar — this celebration carried a kind of meaning that cannot be replicated. Because this was not only a wedding she led; it was her little brother and sister-in-law beginning their next chapter. Every decision, every detail, every transition was layered with an extraordinary amount of intention and love.

The design unfolded in a palette of rich browns, warm toffee, terracotta, silky blacks, and creamy textured whites — a composition that felt elegant without being expected, sophisticated without feeling formal. There was an understated edge to the entire aesthetic; soft florals meeting dark textiles, delicate details against stronger silhouettes. It felt timeless and confident.

And then there was the car.

Caleb’s black Fox Body Mustang GT — his personal build and longtime obsession — wasn't simply transportation for the day. Sleek and polished with an almost cinematic presence, it became one of the most personal elements of the wedding. Against Monica’s ethereal gown and veil, the contrast was striking: masculine and soft, nostalgic and modern all at once. The portraits beside it felt less like traditional wedding photos and more like still frames from a film.

Throughout the day, curated details continued to unfold. Guests found handwritten notes waiting at their place settings — words of gratitude that felt intimate and thoughtful. Rich espresso-toned linens were layered with smoked glassware and terracotta place settings, while textural florals softened every corner of the space.

The celebration continued into an unforgettable night with a packed dance floor, fun props, dollar bills flying through the air, and the kind of energy that only gets better as the night goes on. Guests fully embraced every moment as the dance floor stayed absolutely packed.

Some weddings are beautiful because every detail is perfect. Others stay with you because you can feel the love woven throughout the people, the community, and every thoughtful detail behind it. We can proudly say Monica and Caleb’s was both.
