September | Erica and Ben celebrated their beautiful, oceanfront wedding with a breezy beach ceremony and an intimate hotel reception at The Adrift hotel in Long Beach.

When Erica and Ben first envisioned their wedding day, they wanted to create an immersive experience that felt effortlessly romantic and intentionally curated. Grounded in a sophisticated palette of deep ocean blues, crisp whites, classic golds, and sandy neutral tones, the design concept beautifully balanced modern coastal elegance with a lush, organic feel. From the moment guests stepped onto the shoreline, the deliberate play on seaside textures, coastal elements, and warm candlelight immediately set an intimate, welcoming mood for the celebration.
The venue's natural architecture, characterized by its stunning beachfront expanse and the industrial-chic spaces of the Adrift Hotel, provided the ultimate canvas for the day's timeless design elements. Rather than competing with the rugged beauty of the Washington coast, the design leaned into it, using a half-circle chair layout centered on the open ocean views to elevate the surroundings and create distinct visual movement. Strategic placement of the indoor Pickled Fish restaurant dining spaces and the breezy outdoor patio ensured that the layout felt spacious yet incredibly intimate.
To bring this intricate visual story to life flawlessly, the couple chose our Signature package. This allowed our team to step in and meticulously oversee the final design details and vendor integration, ensuring every rental layer and rented silk floral piece was executed with absolute precision. With our team managing the setup logistics, Erica and Ben were able to fully relax as their aesthetic vision materialized perfectly around them.
The design details truly shone during the reception dinner, where the space was transformed by unique ocean-inspired elements and a masterclass in intentional layering. The tablescapes featured beautiful blue gauze cheesecloth runners as an organic foundation for the candlelight and rented silk florals spread across each table. Each place setting was carefully styled with custom matchbook favors and place cards, while unique sea-shell goblets and scattered ceremony bells cast a deeply personal, coastal glow across the room.
This wedding was a perfect reflection of the couple's style, brought to life through a flawless execution of modern beach design and thoughtful curation. From the striking moment the couple exited the beach to the sound of ringing bells to the smallest custom tabletop detail, every element worked in harmony to create an unforgettable visual footprint. The Adrift hotel provided the ultimate backdrop for this design story, making it a celebration that was just as soulful to experience as it was beautiful to look at.
