Kiana Lodge brings its own kind of atmosphere—wooded, waterfront, a little tucked away in that classic Pacific Northwest way. The dock stretches out into the water, evergreens frame everything, and the lodge itself adds just enough warmth and texture to keep it from feeling overly polished. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t need much, but Alisa and Andy made it entirely their own.
The design direction was bright, playful, and intentionally a little unexpected. Soft blues set the foundation, layered with bold, saturated pinks. The overall aesthetic leaned modern and fun—clean lines paired with color in a way that felt fresh and vibrant. It was thoughtful, but lighthearted.
The ceremony took place dockside, with the water stretching out behind them. It was a romantic celebration that had us all misty-eyed. From there, it was all fun and high energy as the reception shifted the tone into something unexpectedly playful. Guests found small, personal touches everywhere—mini recipe books filled with Alisa and Andy’s favorite at-home meals, a temporary tattoo bar, and a photo booth that stayed busy all night with printed strips and an amazing option of props. Even the cake had a precious and fun touch being topped with tiny dumpling characters that felt so charming and very them!
We worked with Alisa and Andy through our Premiere Package, which allowed for a more collaborative, design-forward planning process. We spent intentional time developing custom design elements together, shaping a day that felt distinctly reflective of their story, and making sure every detail translated seamlessly from concept to execution. It was personal, playful, and unmistakably theirs from start to finish.
