This May wedding at Skamania was a beautiful example of how intentional design and a well-loved venue can work together seamlessly. Nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Skamania offers a variety of unique spaces, and this celebration made the most of two of its most iconic locations: the Amphitheater for the ceremony and Riverview for the reception.


The ceremony took place in the amphitheater surrounded by natural greenery. The open-air setting created a relaxed , inviting atmosphere that felt both intimate and expansive. Soft rosette tones, white and blush pinks florals, and delicate pastel accents complimented the natural landscape of the venue, allowing the greenery of the Gorge to shine.


Following the ceremony, guests transitioned to the Riverview Pavilion for the Reception, where the celebration continued with stunning views and the perfect indoor-outdoor flow. The space was designed to encourage connection and movement, making it perfect for a night focused on dancing, toasts, and spending time together. Neutral tones and soft floral details carried the spring palette into the evening, keeping the look cohesive while still letting the venue shine.


The wedding style leaned cocktail to semi-formal with a subtle western influence, giving the day a laid-back elegance that fit naturally within Skamania’s setting. Guests felt comfortable, relaxed, and ready to celebrate, which showed on the dance floor as the night went on.
