  • A Romantic Summer Celebration at The Old Schoolhouse - Jordan and Mike

August | This early August wedding at The Old Schoolhouse featured a clean and romantic design with sage green accents and floating candle decor. We provided Signature planning support to manage their vendors and coordinate a seamless day for the couple and their guests. | Photos By Bekah Taylor Photography | The Old Schoolhouse in Newberg, Oregon, has a way of feeling both historic and entirely timeless. It is the kind of place that sets a romantic tone from the moment you step onto the property. On this early August day, the weather provided the perfect balance of overcast light and patches of bright blue sky. The greenery throughout the gardens looked vibrant, creating a secluded and private atmosphere for a beautiful summer wedding. One of the best features of this venue is how the different spaces connect. You get a variety of distinct moods that are perfectly accessible for your guests. The garden feels whimsical and airy for a ceremony, while the ballroom offers an elegant, vintage charm that remains intimate regardless of the guest count. Even the orchard, which leans into a more rustic side, is just a short walk away. This creates a very easy flow that allows the day to transition naturally from one moment to the next. The design for the day was clean, classy, and deeply romantic. By sticking to a palette of white with sage green accents, the couple allowed the natural beauty of the grounds to shine. Outside, the lush greenery made the classic white architecture and decor pop. Inside the ballroom, the couple brought in warmth by layering sage green linens with bunches of baby’s breath and flickering candlelight. Votives filled with water and floating candles added a soft, glowing ambiance to every table. We especially loved the gelato bar, which provided a sweet and personal touch that guests absolutely loved. The couple worked with YPB through our Signature Package. This allowed our team to handle the heavy lifting of vendor management leading up to the big day. By taking charge of the logistics and providing full day-of coordination, we ensured that the transition between the garden ceremony and the ballroom reception was flawless. This wedding was a beautiful reflection of the couple and the charm of The Old Schoolhouse. It was elegant, intentional, and full of personality. This venue remains a top choice for couples looking for a classic Oregon celebration, and we were so happy to be part of this unforgettable day.
