Romantic Blush Pink wedding at The Griffin House - Alesha and Kenneth

May | Overlooking the breathtaking cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge, this romantic blush pink wedding at The Griffin House blended timeless elegance with the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty. Soft florals and lush greenery framed the celebration honoring heritage through a unity sand ritual and the sacred tradition of jumping the broom.

The bride wears a lace gown with sheer floral sleeves and a flowing veil, while the groom wears a white tuxedo jacket. The broom decorated with crystals rests in the groom’s hand as the Columbia River Gorge landscape glows softly in the background.

In the heart of the Oregon Pacific Northwest, overlooking the sweeping cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge, there is The Griffin House, where the landscape doesn’t just frame the day, it tells part of your love story. Alesha and Kenneth's blush-toned, black-tie celebration unfolded with an elegant balance of soft luxury — romantic in palette, rich in meaning.

Creamy whites and delicate blush pinks set the tone, layered with lush greenery and an abundance of peonies and garden roses by Trellis Flowers. Beneath a tent transformed by a suspended disco ball installation wrapped in foliage, the reception felt equal parts timeless and celebratory. The bride embodied whimsical romance in a floral lace appliqué gown with detachable sleeves, while her bridesmaids shimmered in satin blush. The groom made a refined statement in an all-white tuxedo — a modern yet classic complement to the day’s soft, elegant palette.

Officiated by Shalonda Menefee, the ceremony was spiritually centered and deeply rooted in community. The couple blended sand in a unity ritual symbolizing two families becoming one, then honored African diasporic tradition by jumping the broom — a powerful act representing ancestral presence, resilience, and the intentional sweeping forward into shared life. It was an unforgettable and joy-filled moment!

As the evening unfolded, Elation Music set the tone, moving effortlessly from intimate, heartfelt moments to lively, high-energy dancing beneath the tent. Through our Signature Package, YPB managed and tailored every detail — coordinating vendors, crafting a seamless timeline, organizing rentals, and designing a floor plan that highlighted both the natural flow of the celebration and the sweeping Columbia River Gorge views. While the couple led the planning journey, our team ensured the day ran seamlessly, allowing them and their guests to be fully immersed in each meaningful, beautifully curated moment.
