 This lush greenhouse wedding at Blockhouse Portland was all about light, ease, and intention. The color palette blended soft seafoam and teal with mossy greens, airy whites, and subtle pops of coral, creating a look that felt fresh, whimsical, and very PNW. Blockhouse's iconic romantic drapery overhead and incredible greenery softened the space and made the venue feel intimate and elevated.


For Dayna and Rafa, the style leaned modern bohemian—clean, relaxed, and thoughtfully layered with texture. Long tables were dressed in white linens, green glass plates, origami crane place cards, satin napkins, and candlelit details, paired with simple, breezy bud vase florals. One of our favorite details was the peacock sweetheart chairs, which made a fun statement and an easy focal point all while making the couple feel a little extra special.


The couple worked with YPB through our Signature Package, which allowed us to step in with planning support, vendor guidance, and day-of coordination. From managing rentals and timelines to keeping communication flowing, our role was to handle the logistics so Dayna and Rafa could stay present and focus on what mattered most to them—great food, great drinks, and a full dance floor.


This Blockhouse wedding is a great example of why we love this venue for Portland weddings under $30K. Intimate, light-filled, and naturally beautiful, the space brings so much on its own, making it easy to create a meaningful, well-designed celebration without stretching the budget.
