September | Aparna and Kurt celebrated a vibrant cross-cultural wedding weekend at The Ruins in Hood River, blending traditional Indian ceremonies with an elegant Western reception.

The Ruins in Hood River offers a breathtaking, industrial-meets-historic charm for a destination celebration. The atmosphere came alive under crisp white drapery across the courtyard, creating an intimate yet grand setting for the wedding festivities.
The multi-day celebration masterfully honored both partners' heritages. Friday kicked off with a joyful Mehndi featuring live henna and food trucks. Saturday morning featured a vibrant Baraat procession before a traditional Mandap ceremony rich with cultural rituals.
Transitioning to evening, the space became a romantic reception under string lights. Long farm tables featured dusty rose runners, deep blue napkins, and towering blue hydrangea floral pillars. After attire changes, the couple hit an electric dance floor.
