A 70s Retro Palette Meets Rich Tibetan Traditions at Union Pine - Tashi and Mike
September | Tashi and Mike celebrated their love at Portland’s Union Pine with a beautiful wedding that seamlessly blended rich Tibetan traditions, a warm 70s-inspired color palette, and elegant modern details.

Tashi and Mike’s wedding day began with elegant morning preparations and a romantic first look at The Grand Stark. Their custom invitation suite beautifully teased the day's warm, 70s retro aesthetic.
The celebration commenced at Union Pine with an intimate Western ceremony. Set against a white brick wall, the couple exchanged vows beneath glowing bistro lights and a stunning, hanging floral installation full of fall colors. Immediately after, the space transformed for a deeply moving Tibetan ceremony led by a Tibetan Monk. The newlyweds changed into traditional Tibetan attire, family members poured tea into ornate golden cups, and guests offered sacred khata scarves.
Following the ceremonies, the room flipped into a warm reception featuring tables dressed in rose-tinted linens, bold China Red napkins, and glowing candlelight. Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner by before a joyful late-night pie cutting.
To coordinate the intricate floor plan, rental logistics, and dual timelines seamlessly, the couple trusted our Signature Package. This day-of management support allowed our team to handle the venue transitions so the couple could stay entirely present.
