  • Old Fashioned Elegance at the Oregon Golf Club - Emily and Elliot

September | Emily and Elliott celebrated their classic, elegant wedding reception at the spectacular Oregon Golf Club in West Linn. | Photos By Jane & Co. Photography | When Emily and Elliott first envisioned their wedding reception, they wanted to create an immersive experience that felt effortlessly classic and deeply romantic. Grounded in a sophisticated palette of crisp whites, rich forest greens, and warm candlelight tones, the design concept beautifully balanced traditional elegance with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. From the moment guests stepped into the reception space, the soft linens and organic greenery set a warm, inviting mood for the celebration. The venue's natural architecture, characterized by a perfectly manicured property and panoramic views, provided the ultimate canvas for the day's timeless design elements. Rather than competing with the sprawling estate, the design leaned into it, using sophisticated rentals to elevate the surroundings and create distinct visual movement. Strategic placement of the indoor dining areas ensured that the layout felt spacious yet intimate, framing the entire celebration with a cohesive, curated atmosphere. To bring this intricate visual story to life flawlessly, the couple chose our Signature package. This allowed our team to meticulously oversee the final design details and vendor integration, ensuring every rental and floral delivery was placed with absolute precision. With our team managing the setup logistics, Emily and Elliott were able to fully relax as we brought their vision to life. The design details truly shone during the reception dinner, where the space was transformed by brilliant floral artistry and intentional layering. The tablescapes featured elegant linens as an organic foundation for lush, conversational floral arrangements. Each place setting was carefully styled with sophisticated flatware, while a custom tiered cake with champagne, lemon, and chocolate flavors provided a delicious focal point. This wedding was a perfect reflection of the couple's style, brought to life through a flawless execution of romantic design and thoughtful curation. From their grand entrance to "Welcome to New York" to the smallest tabletop detail, every element worked in harmony to create an unforgettable visual that perfectly represented the couple. The Oregon Golf Club provided the ultimate backdrop for this story, making the celebration just as joyful to experience as it was beautiful to look at. With towering trees surrounding the property and the historic architecture setting the tone, the venue itself created a naturally refined backdrop that allowed the couple’s design choices to truly shine. The bride wore a flowing white gown with delicate lace sleeves that felt timeless and effortless, while the groom complemented her look in a crisp white tux. Their palette stayed classic and clean, leaning into lush greenery accented with soft white florals. Pops of emerald green in the reception linens added just the right amount of depth without overpowering the overall aesthetic. Candles played a major role in setting the mood for the evening. From the soft glow throughout the reception to the warm ambiance they created as night fell, the candlelight brought an intimate, romantic feel to the space. The Manor House’s open layout and surrounding trees made everything feel organic and grounded, blending elegance with a natural atmosphere. One of the most loved details of the day? A bouncy house for the kids. It was a huge hit and added a fun, playful element that balanced the sophistication of the design.
