Check it out! Before the new 2023 Barbie movie trailer released, we were already thinking about a fun and unique design to bring to the open and neutral space, Everett West, for the Venue Crawl. We wanted the design to be something different and colorful (the trend for 2023) and make the Barbie world a space for all people, not just Barbie girls. This design wouldn't have made such a lasting impression if it were for the little details and activities that you don't see at your average wedding. Here's some of our favorite elements: A ceremony designed to make everyone feel a part of it The most DREAMY pink wedding dress Place cards inspired by the Barbie logo and brand The selfie station that everyone loved Sweets, sweets and more sweets! Barbie-Inspired Wedding Reception Tables This Design featured three different Barbie-inspired wedding tablescapes, each with a node to the Barbie-World and featuring pinks of all kinds. The first is more of a neutral setting with gold accents and bubbly candy sticks to bring in a bit of personality. The second features more pops of hot pink and a light-up neon pink table number - LOVE! - and bubble cut placecards with Barbie font. The third features a heart-shaped napkin fold that we bet your guests have never seen before, and the cutest, custom toy favors - some real 90's nostalgia. Details Details Details! We're all about the guest experience, so we wanted this design to feature interactive elements that will make sure your guests never forget your wedding day. Selfie stations, cotton candy, s'mores station, candy bar (can you tell we like dessert?), photo booth, and a cute lounge to step away and talk about it all. June 2023 | When a wedding photographer gets married, you have to do it right. Khali and Ryan spent so much love and care on the details - weaving pieces of their love and life together throughout this stunning summer soiree. | Photo By Kayla Esparza Photography | You might know Khali as KMT Photo! It is always an honor when another wedding industry professional trusts us with coordinating and designing their own wedding! Khali and Ryan deserved to truly enjoy their wedding. We helped them build in time to enjoy each moment, have fun transitions, and find the rentals and vendors to make their vision come to life. Not only was it a GREAT time, but it was full of little personal details. Their color palette played with soft peaches, pinks, and neutrals. Their pups, Charlie and Oscar, snuck into their bar menu and even had a "seat" at the sweetheart table with framed photos. Since Khali herself is a wedding photographer, she wanted photos to be a prominent facet of the day - she made a selfie mirror for guests, armed her bridesmaids with polaroid cameras, and celebrated with a photobooth. To kick off the dance party, Ryan and Khali surprised their guests with a CO2 Cannon - if there's anything guests will remember, that is bound to be one of them. SO MUCH FUN. September 2022 | Vibrant fall wedding with tropical touches at a garden venue. These two prioritized stunning florals and dance party props & snacks that kept the party going. | Photo By Chelsea Abril | Garden-inspired with a hint of tropical! Emily and Les' September wedding had the most beautiful and vibrant fall color palette to contrast against the greenery of the venue. This outdoor Seattle garden provided a beautiful setting and backdrop for ceremony, and their nursery was the perfect spot for reception. We loved all the personal touches to the party - Emily and Les ended the night with a McDonald's, bubbles, glow wands and smiles. Truly an amazing night! July 2023 | This one is for all the mountain lovers and PNW couples - A stunning mountain view at the highest wedding venue in Washington featuring peach and blue summer florals. | Photo By Erin Perkins Photography | To put it simply, the Crystal Mountain Resort is a one of a kind venue that will leave your guests talking about your wedding for YEARS. It incorporates adventure, elegance, and surreal views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Mt. Saint Helens, and Mt. Adams. To get to the top, guest get to hitch a ride on the venue's gondola - 10/10 transportation! Up at the top, Chris and Chelsea brought in pops of peaches and blues and incorporated details really played to the vibe of the venue. Their welcome sign was the cutest recreation of a National Parks sign, their cake featured gold-brushed evergreens, and their custom "Just Married" ski's fit right into the theme. August | Intimate, garden wedding full of summer colors and fun dessert tables. | Photo By Lloyd Photography | The color palette at Lawrence and Bridgette's whimsical, garden wedding felt like eating a popsicle on a warm summer day. It was so fun, so airy, and so colorful! The semi-DIY signage, the table setting and the flowers came together perfectly - one of the perks of having a full service planner on your team! It looked even better than the design board we helped them created. Their whole day was packed full of tangerine, yellows, pinks and periwinkle blues. To add to the summer fun, L&B also opted for gelato for dessert - and in fashion, too! Nutty Squirrel Gelato brought the cutest gelato cart that Flora Pacifica adorned with whimsical flowers - such a fun alternative to a wedding cake! August | An alternative wedding day with a blend of spiritual and religious ceremonies to celebrate their unique connection in the most magical forest setting. | Photo By Roark and Jessica Nelson | Weddings look different for everyone, and that's what we love so much about what we do. Often, we're helping couples find a blend between two religious backgrounds, and others we're helping them incorporate their own spin on traditions. Christine and Gregory's magical and ethereal forest wedding was anything but traditional, with numerous different rituals and ceremonies to celebrate their love. It was important for them to incorporate meaningful celebrations, and they took inspiration from various backgrounds. Guests were greeted with cacao, and blessed with whimsical live harp music while they said "I Do" under their artfully made chuppah. Guests also enjoyed a tea ceremony and elixirs, and Indian food by Swagat. With so many moving parts, we were more than happy to be a part of their day and assist with designing and coordinating their ceremonies. Not every participant in weddings come from a wedding background, and that's where having a planner or coordinator can help connect all the dots. August | A monochromatic, traditional Persian wedding at Woodmark Hotel with an abundant Sofreh Aghd and delicate crystal details. | Photo By B .Jones Photography | Sina and Heidi's champagne, white and blush colors looked incredibly luxurious under the white draping of the Woodmark Hotel draped tent. Each detail was selected with care, and their traditional Sofreh Agdh, which broken down means "spread" and "ceremony" in Farsi, was artfully designed. This was such a fun tradition to learn about and assist with coordinating and ensuring all the proper items were in place. The spread traditionally includes the same symbolic items, but styled to the couple's liking. S&H included crystal details on top of an acrylic table - so clean and beautiful! S&H also included many other Persian traditions throughout the day, like the Sugar Rubbing ceremony and the Knife Dance. It can be difficult to trust someone with your cultural traditions, and we're so glad Sina and Heidi trusted us with coordination. One of the reasons we include so many meetings before the actual wedding day, even for our Day Of Coordination package, is so we can spend time with you, the couple, to understand your wedding preferences and vision in order to execute it without you having to worry. Their reception, with a killer performance by Hans and The Wanted, is reminiscence of a high school dance, but remove the awkward dancing and hormones and replace it with true love and fashionable, unique attire.
