  • Minimalistic wedding at Noble Ridge Tree Deck - Christine and Joseph

August | Mountains and llamas and Boba and paella and s'mores... oh my! A forest wedding in SW Washington. Photo By Samantha Dean Photography This wedding had no shortage of entertainment and events throughout the day, and it took a village to create (see the long list of amazing vendors who made it all happen). Christine and Joseph started in Portland for a rooftop first look, then drove up into the mountains (thanks First Student Charter Bus , Northwest Navigator & Aspen Limo Tours !) to the most beautiful and unique outdoor space. From serene mountain views, to Boba Tea and llamas, to paella, to s'mores - Christine and Joseph's wedding had it all. Having a multitude of elements takes serious coordination, but that's what we do best. The Noble Ridge Tree Deck in Washougal is a unique site. The owners originally built the deck for their daughter to get married on (talk about a love story!) and it has continued to be a space for love. The deck raises you into the trees on circular landing. To get the most out of the space, we flipped the deck from ceremony to reception and created a star of banquet tables, leaving space dancing in the center, and utilized the beautiful lower lawn for cocktail hour festivities. The tables we adorned the tables with modern details- neutral candle sticks and holders, twisted linens wrapped across stoneware plates, and delicate flower frog arrangements by Rachael Meader . We hope you enjoy this gallery from the talented Samantha Dean Photography ! Interested in this venue or inspired by this design? Questions about how we achieved this wedding? We'd love to discuss how we can take your inspiration and help you create your dream wedding. • Elegant & refined Wedding at Waverley Country Club - Sarah and Alessandro

Summer // August | Get married at a venue that sets the scene for wedding without needing much else. We loved this timeless, classy and elegant summer wedding at the luxurious Waverley Country Club. | Photo By Gabriela Ines | Waverley Country Club is a luxury wedding venue just outside of Portland with a riverfront landscape and a crisp, white clubhouse. Sarah and Alessandro wanted a laid back feel, and with the venue's beautiful backdrop and classy ballroom, they didn't need to bring in much decor to achieve that in a simple, elegant way. Their timeliness and clean invites set the tone, as did Sarah's lacey cape (what a vision she was!). One of S&A's priorities was to make sure guests were comfortable and had access to drinks and food at any time - a venue like WCC with in-house catering is perfect for keeping guests comfortable! We also helped them craft a timeline that didn't keep the couple away from the party for too long and avoided long waiting periods when possible. Curious on what their timeline looked like? We're happy to help you create a flow to your day that helps you enjoy the things that are important to you! • Oh Sh!t List

18 Must-Have Items to Grab Before You Say ‘I Do’ Your wedding day is finally here! You’ve planned every detail, from the flowers to the playlist. Before you rush out the door, let’s make sure you’ve packed everything you need to keep things running smoothly. Here’s the ultimate checklist to make sure you’re prepared for all those little wedding day moments. 1. Marriage License It’s the one piece of paper that truly makes the day official! Don’t leave home without it; hand it off to someone reliable (your wedding planner or officiant) for safekeeping. 2. Rings This might seem obvious, but you’d be surprised how often they get left behind! Put them in a secure box and make sure your ring bearer or best man knows where they are. 3. Vows If you’ve written personal vows, bring a neatly printed or handwritten copy to keep them close. You'll be grateful to have it on hand in case nerves hit! 4. Vendor Contact List Print a list of all your vendors and their contact info. It’s a lifesaver if you need to make a last-minute call or adjust anything. If you're a YPB client this info is on the top of your wedding day timeline! 5. Photo ID Whether it’s for legal purposes or honeymoon travel, keeping an ID handy is always a good idea. 6. Wedding Shoes Double-check that your wedding shoes are packed. If they’re brand new, break them in beforehand to avoid any wedding day blisters. 7. Outfit Accessories This includes all the little extras like veils, cufflinks, ties, jewelry, and garters. Have these packed in a small, easy-to-grab bag. 8. Touch-Up Kit Makeup touch-ups are inevitable! Pack some essentials like lipstick, powder, and tissues to stay picture-perfect all day. 9. Perfume/Cologne Bring your favorite scent to add that little extra charm. A spritz before walking down the aisle will keep you feeling fresh. 10. Phone & Charger You’ll need your phone for important contacts, capturing moments, or playing the playlist while you’re getting ready. And don’t forget the charger! 11. Comfortable Shoes If your wedding shoes are formal, consider packing some comfortable shoes or sneakers for dancing or in-between photos. 12. Snack & Water A little snack stash will go a long way in keeping your energy up. Pack some water too to stay hydrated during a long, exciting day! 13. Emergency Kit Think of this as a little wedding day “insurance.” Pack some Band-Aids, safety pins, a small sewing kit, stain remover, and anything 14. Gifts and Cards Don't forget the gift and card to give to your partner 15. Overnight Bag If you are staying at a hotel on your wedding night (or leaving on your honeymoon) 16. Thank you notes and tips If you want to express your gratitude to vendors and helpful friends/family members 17. Cash For anything unexpected 18. Umbrella or Sunscreen Don't forget to weather proof your wedding day!! With these 18 essentials in hand, you’re all set for a smooth and memorable wedding day! Packing these must-haves will help you handle any small hiccups, keep you feeling comfortable, and make sure you’re focused on what truly matters: celebrating with your partner and loved ones.
