Hotels in Hood River book out extremely early if you have out-of-town guests coming to celebrate.
The Griffin House is a popular location for destination destination weddings. Sometimes hotels in book out over a year in advance, leaving clients scramble to find AirBnB's for their guests. We now partner with a Room Block sourcing company to connect you with open hotel rooms that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere to ease the stress. Wind Gusts
The views are undeniably beautiful here with the cliffside views of the Gorge. The one thing we always consider when building floor plans and designing tablescapes is the wind that the cliffside views bring. We're happy to share what has worked, what hasn't, and how to blend logistics with your vision to account for the famous Hood River wind.

Transportation Schedule
Guests are required to arrive via shuttle, and you need to have this accounted for in your schedule. There's also various options, like what size shuttle you get, how many shuttles, and how you and your wedding party arrive earlier. That's what we're here for - to help with the logistics! We know the spots to be able to pick up guests not staying at a hotel, we can recommend how to fit transportation in your budget, and we can help time your ceremony appropriately.

While there are many vendors in Hood River that can help you avoid travel fees from Portland, the local vendors don't serve every clients needs. We help all our couples curate their vendor team to fit all their needs, and we're able to share both our Hood River and Portland vendor connections.
