Pattern Play :: Featured in Portland Bride & Groom
September 18, 2014
This has been a wonderful, challenging, exciting year for YPB. We are so thankful for all of the opportunities that have come our way this year. One of the most exciting things of 2014 was being asked to participate in a photoshoot for Portland Bride and Groom magazine.
Back in December the magazine contacted us and asked us to design a concept based on a pattern. We were given the pattern “plaid” to work with. Right away we knew we wanted to do something different, so we thought we would go classic, with some masculine, yet refined touches. We designed this entire tableau around a beautiful gold and black hued plaid fabric, taking nods from the Victorian era and the feeling of an old English hunting lodge.
We are grateful to Wendi Nordeck (www.nordeckphoto.com) for sending us these beautiful images to share with you.
The thing I loved most about this shoot is the ability to really show off the competitive advantage of our team. We designed our business the way we did because we really feel that having an intact team work across multiple facets of an event leads to increased creativity and cohesiveness in the design.
Speaking of our team - Here is a list of everyone who worked so hard to make this happen.
