While we love the inspiration provided by Pinterest, Bridal Magazines and the many other sources of “pretty & fabulous” things, it’s easy to get locked in analysis paralysis. The hunt for the “perfect” whatever it is, can be exhausting, time consuming, and anxiety inducing. We would like to free you from the weight and stress of the hunt for perfection and celebrate the freedom that comes with decision making.
Whether it’s finding vendors or determining linen colors, trust your gut. We find that folks know pretty quickly when styles (or people) are the right fit (or wrong fit) for them.
Don’t get bogged down with the idea that someone or something out there is “more perfect”. Trust your instincts, check off that “to-do” and move onto the next item on the list.
Along these lines, I would like to pass along a Pinterest tip a client recently shared with me. Once you commit to something (say your wedding dress), delete the other pictures off your Pinterest Board. There are a million gorgeous (in this case wedding dresses) out there but your gut told you to buy the one you did. Don’t let the other pictures place doubt in your mind where there is none in your heart. Delete, delete, delete!
So the moral of this blog post is: trust your gut, follow your heart and celebrate those check marks on your to-do list!
