With sweeping views of downtown Portland, the venue offered a striking contrast of open sky and urban character. The rooftop ceremony felt expansive and fresh, while the industrial architecture below, including exposed brick and clean lines, set the tone for a day that blended elegance with a modern city edge. The overall vibe was romantic, whimsical, and effortlessly elevated. The ceremony took place on the rooftop terrace, where the open air and skyline views created a light, airy atmosphere that immediately set the mood. Guests then transitioned seamlessly into the conference center for the reception. This indoor space felt more intimate while still bright and welcoming, thanks to soft drapery suspended from the ceiling that mimicked clouds overhead. Against the exposed brick walls, the fabric added a dreamy softness and made the room feel connected to the outdoor ceremony experience. The flow between spaces was smooth and intuitive, allowing guests to fully enjoy each part of the day without interruption. Inspired by a Bridgerton-style aesthetic, the design felt elegant and whimsical with a romantic color palette of pink, purple, and white layered with abundant greenery. Surrounded by tall evergreens and natural scenery, the space feels private and serene while still offering plenty of room for guests to gather and celebrate. The ceremony space sits among the trees, allowing nature to become part of the backdrop, which created a stunning setting for this meaningful cultural celebration. This July wedding was a vibrant Persian celebration filled with thoughtful traditions, beautiful details, and joyful moments shared with family and friends. At the altar, the couple incorporated a traditional Sofreh Aghd table, an important element in Persian wedding ceremonies. The table displayed meaningful symbolic items including a mirror representing a bright future, candles symbolizing light and energy, rock candy for sweetness in the couple’s life together, and grains representing fertility and abundance. During the ceremony, the couple participated in beloved traditions including Kalleh Ghand, where sugar cones are rubbed above the couple’s heads to symbolize sweetness in their marriage, and the honey feeding tradition known as Asal. The floral design complemented the natural setting with soft pastel tones of peach, periwinkle, pink, white, and orange. The arrangements featured a mix of textures that added depth and dimension while still feeling organic to the outdoor environment. One of the most unique details of the reception was the seating chart display, which doubled as a wall of colorful macarons for guests to enjoy. The celebration continued with a reception full of laughter, heartfelt moments, and plenty of dancing. Guests enjoyed mini pastries later in the evening before heading to the dance floor with fun foam glow sticks that kept the energy high. The couple’s golden retriever also made a special appearance, bringing smiles to everyone in attendance.
