  • Vibrant, tropical-inspired wedding at WithinSodo - Shazia and Theron

July | A vibrant color palette with a mix of champagne linens and raw wood tables in an urban wedding venue. | Photo By Jordan Voth Photography | This wedding will be featured in Washington Wedding Day! Shazia and Theron’s wedding was designed to feel like an elevated family gathering, with three long family tables and casual food from local Indian and Caribbean restaurants. Floral was the largest priority in their design, and Diadem Flower Co dreamt up the most beautiful, tropical-inspired floral design to honor their Pakistani and Trinidadian cultures. We helped them with our Premiere Package to design their tablescape to match and hone in all the details of the layout and flow of the day. We loved the variety of tables that Diadem Flower Co executed ! One style featured a champagne, shimmery linen with wooden cross-back chairs and wide floral centerpieces, as well as a dreamy floral installation floating above the table. The other style featured elevated arrangement with luscious ferns and other tropical flowers on a wooden table and wooden benches. The mixed styles really helped the dinner feel less uniform and formal, and more like the family gathering they wanted. We loved seeing this urban venue transformed, and can't wait to be back! • Private Residence Wedding - Lyle, Washington - Renee and Peter

Renee and Peter - May 2021 Genuine, sweet and REAL. It may have rained on this spring day, but Renee and Peter danced in the rain at Peter's family property. Instead of transforming the space, we only added functionality and enhanced the property's beautiful features. In May, the natural wildflowers flourish, so it seemed fitting to have Small Yard Flowers ' climbing florals on the ceremony tree. This day was all about family, so we created a tented reception space for open seating and enjoying the delicious Filipino cuisine by Magna PDX , but made other spaces for guests to gather and mingle. Private Property weddings are extremely special to us - there's something about creating a wedding venue out of a sentimental place that will never compare to any other venue. There are a lot of logistics involved, but that is what we do best! Thank you to the Vendor Team that helped make this dream a reality! • Engaged for the Holidays? Stress Less and Celebrate More.

Photo by Jenn Tai & Co How to survive the Holidays as a newly engaged couple. The holidays can be magical, but add being newly engaged to the mix, and they can feel overwhelming fast. Between family gatherings, gift shopping, and wedding questions coming from every direction, it’s easy to feel stretched thin. Here are some practical, kind tips to help you survive—and enjoy—this special season as an engaged couple. 1. Set Boundaries Around Wedding Talk Excitement about your engagement is natural, but constant questions about the date, venue, or guest list can become draining. Politely let loved ones know you’re taking the holidays to enjoy your engagement and will dive into planning after the season. For persistent relatives, have a go-to line like, “We’re still figuring that out, but we can’t wait to share updates soon!” 2. Prioritize Your Time Together The holidays are about connection, so make sure to carve out time for just the two of you. Whether it’s a cozy movie night or a walk to see holiday lights, these moments help you refocus on what matters: your relationship. 3. Divide and Conquer Tasks Between holiday shopping, hosting duties, and wedding planning, it can feel like there’s too much to do. Sit down together, make a list, and divide responsibilities. By sharing the load, you’ll feel less stressed and more like a team. 4. Don’t Be Afraid to Say No You don’t have to attend every party or say yes to every invitation. Choose the events that mean the most to you, and don’t feel guilty about skipping the rest. Protecting your time and energy is key to staying present and stress-free. 5. Set a Holiday Budget Engagements often come with financial stress, and the holidays can add to it. Agree on a budget for gifts, travel, and festivities upfront to avoid overspending. Remember, thoughtful gestures often mean more than pricey items. 6. Practice Gratitude Together With all the hustle, it’s easy to lose sight of what the holidays—and your engagement—are truly about. Take a moment each day to share something you’re grateful for. It could be a supportive family member, a funny moment, or just the excitement of building a life together. Gratitude shifts the focus from stress to joy. 7. Lean on Each Other If you’re feeling overwhelmed, communicate openly. Share how you’re feeling and offer support to each other. Your engagement is a time to strengthen your bond, and navigating holiday stress together is a great way to grow closer. 8. Make New Traditions As you prepare to merge your lives, start creating your own holiday traditions as a couple. Whether it’s baking cookies, decorating, or volunteering together, these rituals will become cherished memories in the years to come. 9. Remember It’s Okay to Take a Break You don’t need to attend every event or have everything perfectly planned. It’s okay to step back, take a deep breath, and remind yourself that this is a season of joy—not pressure. Enjoy the Magic Together The holidays as an engaged couple are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. By setting boundaries, prioritizing each other, and focusing on what truly matters, you’ll not only survive the season but also create meaningful memories to carry into your marriage. • Elevated garden wedding at The Orchard - Kelsie and Hunter

July | Garden-inspired pink and neutral florals with blue and gold accents surrounded by beautiful mountain views. | Photos By RT Faith Photography | Surrounded by gorgeous hydrangeas and lavender, The Orchard's expansive mountain views speak for themselves when it comes to aesthetic, but Kelsie and Hunter's garden-inspired floral arrangements and wood accents just highlighted the beauty even more. Behind every beautiful wedding is a talented team of people - see The Vendor Team who made this day a reality at the end of the gallery. Ceremony The satin drapery of Kelsie's dress really stole the show here, but Hunter's beige three-piece suit with floral lining was a subtle, yet chic choice that corresponded to both the different pink hues and textures of the bridesmaid dresses and the slate blue of the groomsmen suits. We love a heartfelt father of the bride first look moment followed by live ceremony music. Pro-tip: take a few minutes after the ceremony with just the two of you to enjoy a quiet moment together before the party! Reception Long, wooden farm tables were the perfect choice for a garden-side family style dinner. We love the simple and loose style to the centerpieces and the gold accents look so great with the peachy pink hues. Kelsie and Hunter kicked off their dance party with an incredible choreographed first dance followed by some romantic sunset portraits in the garden.
